Tutoring Services

The tutoring service is designed to support both incoming and current students enrolled in first- and second-level degree programs.

Its primary goal is to assist students throughout their academic journey, encouraging active participation in the educational process and, when needed, helping to overcome challenges. The service also supports the organization of initiatives tailored to students' needs, skills, and personal circumstances to ensure successful course attendance and progression.

The University of Basilicata offers a structured tutoring program aimed at reducing dropout rates, preventing academic disengagement and delays, and promoting active participation in university life in all its dimensions. This is achieved through coordinated levels of tutoring, including:

• Subject-specific tutoring

• Supplementary, preparatory, and remedial learning activities

These services are specifically offered to students enrolled in the degree programs of the Department of Engineering (DiING) and are delivered by the following student tutors:
