Linee di ricerca:

le linee di ricerca sono incentrate sull’utilizzo di modelli matematici per l’elaborazione di scenari a supporto della Pianificazione Territoriale. A seconda del modello si opera sia in contesti di analisi ambientali che socioeconomiche.

I domini di applicazione sono molteplici, dall’analisi del fenomeno del consumo di suolo, ai servizi ecosistemici, alla mobilità sostenibile, alle analisi 3D per l’impatto visivo, all’analisi configurazionale per l’organizzazione dei servizi, alle analisi socioeconomiche riguardanti i flussi migratori mediante l’utilizzo di tecniche di autocorrelazione spaziale, agli indicatori per le aree interne, alle analisi a supporto della gestione delle emergenze e dei cambiamenti climatici. Un altro filone di analisi riguarda i processi partecipativi a supporto del processo di piano. Anche in questo caso si fa un largo uso di tecnologie informatiche, come la Social Network Analysis ed il geo-design.
