Linee di ricerca:Il settore degli Impianti Industriali Meccanici (ING-IND/17) si occupa, principalmente, dei metodi per la progettazione e la gestione dei fattori di produzione in contesti industriali . Vengono investigate  e sperimentate le problematiche connesse allo Human Factor in sistemi di produzioni. Vengono analizzati i sistemi e gli approcci di lavorazione cooperativa Uomo-Macchina. Vengono studiati ed analizzati: i criteri di ottimizzazione in ambito Supply Chain Management (beni e servizi); gli strumenti per la modellazione  e simulazione dei processi di produzione;  le soluzioni di economia circolare;  gli elementi  per  progettazione e gestione (in ambito qualità e tempi e costi)  per  sistemi Manufacturing e Re-Manufacturing; le soluzioni e gli approcci per la predizione delle strategie di manutenzione in ambito produttivo.
